Dr. Damon A. Mimari is from San Antonio. He attended the University of the Incarnate Word, graduating with a bachelor of science in biology. Following medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, he completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Dr. Mimari is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association, the Bexar County Medical Society, and the J. Bradley Aust Surgical Society. Dr. Mimari’s special interests include advanced minimally invasive surgery, robotic surgery, and surgical diseases of the breast.
