Caela R. Miller, MD, FACOG, FACS
Gynecologic Oncology
Dr. Miller received her BS in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University, MD from Renaissance School of Medicine at State University of New York at Stony Brook. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology at Walter Reed/National Capitol Consortium.
Dr. Miller is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences F. Herbert School of Medicine, Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG) and a Full Member of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology. She deployed as a General Surgeon on the 240th Forward Surgical Team (Airborne) in 2013 to BAF, Afghanistan. In 2020-21 She was Chief of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Tripler Army Medical Center. She is a former Section Chair of District X of ACOG. She has served on multiple national committees for ACOG, ABOG and SGO from 2009 to the present. She has authored 25+ peer reviewed manuscripts, book chapters and reviews. Her research areas include endometrial & ovarian cancer and quality of cancer care within military health systems.
In 2024 Dr. Miller was recognized by Brooke Army Medical Center as the “Provider of the Quarter,” the highest patient satisfaction award at the flagship of Army Medicine. Other awards include the George Zimmerman Award, Order of Military Medical Merit, SAUSHEC OB/GYN Medical Student Faculty Teaching Award and Westinghouse Research Competition Semi-Finalist. Somehow Dr. Miller was lucky enough to have two beautiful children and a supportive husband for whom she is daily grateful. Interests include English Literature, Live Performance, and long walks with her children.
