Gopichand Pendurti, MD

Dr. Gopichand Pendurti is board certified in Hematology, Medical Oncology, and Internal Medicine. He graduated from Andhra Medical College in India and completed his residency at University of Buffalo (Catholic Health System) in Internal Medicine. He was chief resident and received the program director’s award for best outgoing resident. During his residency, he worked at Roswell Park Cancer Institute on activity of monoclonal antibodies on mantle cell lymphoma cell lines. He did his fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in Hematology and Medical Oncology. He worked on AML cell lines during his final year of fellowship.

Dr. Pendurti has published in peer review journals and has also presented in various national meetings. He was a teaching attending at Jacobi Medical Center before he moved to Mosaic Life Care in St Joseph, Missouri. He worked there as a Medical Oncologist as well as Research Director for 6 years before moving to San Antonio, Texas to join The START Center for Cancer Care. Dr. Pendurti enjoys reading and traveling during his free time.
