Mary Salazar, DNP, MSN, BSN, ANP-BC

Mary Salazar, DNP, APRN, is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of experience in oncology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Towson State University, her master’s degree in healthcare management systems and Nurse Practitioner certification from Johns Hopkins University, and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from The University of Texas at Austin.

Her oncology career includes positions at Johns Hopkins Hospital, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and UT Health San Antonio Mays Cancer Center. Since joining the START Center in San Antonio in 2024, she has cared for patients with a broad range of malignancies.
