Radhamani Kannaiyan, MD

Dr. Radhamani Kannaiyan grew up in rural India. She attended medical school in KAPV Government Medical College in Trichy, India. She later pursued a PhD in Cancer Biology and Cancer Therapeutics, developing a strong foundation in translational cancer research.

She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Arizona and subsequently practiced Hospital Medicine in rural North Carolina, where she gained extensive experience caring for underserved communities.

Dr. Radhamani Kannaiyan later moved to San Antonio, TX to pursue fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology at The University of Texas Health Sciences Center. Her clinical interests include patient-centered oncology care, breast malignancies, and bridging cutting-edge cancer therapeutics with compassionate care delivery.

Dr. Radhamani Kannaiyan is board certified in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.

While not working, she is arranging playdates for her children. She enjoys exploring national parks, nature walks and learning to garden in San Antonio.
