Suvarna Guvvala, MD

Dr. Guvvala earned her medical degree from Kurnool Medical College in India and completed her Internal Medicine residency at BronxCare Health System in New York. She subsequently pursued her Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, Louisiana, where she served as a Chief Fellow.

Dr. Guvvala provides comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for a broad spectrum of malignancies and hematologic conditions. Her clinical interests include breast cancer, multiple myeloma, and gastrointestinal malignancies. She is deeply committed to supporting patients and their families with clear communication, empathy, and personalized care throughout their treatment journey. She practices primarily at the Medical center location.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Guvvala cherishes travelling with her family and friends.
